Multi-award winning Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant, Keeley Kenzie, of Saffron Walden in Essex, never dreamt it would be possible to make a living around her two young sons that not only gave her independence but financial freedom and a flexible lifestyle.

Here she tells us about her journey from slimmer to successful Consultant and why she lives and breathes Cambridge Weight Plan (CWP)…

“I had always been chubby since I was about five and tried every diet going. It was 10 years ago when I was 13 stone, which is big for my height. I tried a particular diet as a final resort, but it didn’t work and I didn’t like the products.

“The following year, my weight had crept up to 14 stone 4lbs and my now ex-husband offered to pay for me to go back on this diet. But I’d heard about someone successfully trying Cambridge Weight Plan and decided to try that instead.

“I followed Sole Source 100% and lost four stone in 12 weeks having CWP shakes. Job done. I was focused because we were going on holiday with another couple and I didn’t want to be the fat girlfriend.

“I’d always worked in finance and at that time was between jobs, so decided to become a Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant. I loved it and it filled my time enough so I could look for another finance job.

“But I became complacent and my weight gradually crept on. I wasn’t happy with my size, which in turn meant I stopped seeing as many clients.

“Then, when I had my two sons, Teddy, who is now six, and Buddy, who is five, I put on more weight – going up to 18 stone with Buddy. Rob and I married when I was pregnant with Teddy so I didn’t have to lose the weight.

“It got to the stage where I only had five clients and didn’t want any more because of my weight. When Buddy was one-and-a-half, Rob and I separated. We’d both been unhappy in the relationship and, although my boys are my world, I felt I’d lost myself.

“I was 16 stone and looked in the mirror, saying, ‘what have you got to do to be a mum who doesn’t want to put her children into childcare and pay the mortgage?’

“I realised I’d been resting on my laurels and sitting on a goldmine. The only difference was my weight – I’d been 10 stone 3lbs when I first started as a Consultant, now I was 16 stone.

“In July 2013, I went back on Plan and was so determined. I started building my business back up, networking and buying myself a skintight Cambridge Weight Plan tunic that doesn’t allow for weight gain!

“By June 2014, I had 15 clients, opened a town centre office in Saffron Walden and got to my goal weight of 8st 10lbs.

“I see myself as more of a lifestyle coach who helps people tackle the real reason they cannot lose weight. For me, it was linked to my relationship problems.

“The beauty of being a Consultant, for me, is that I can still be a full-time mum to my boys and go on school trips with them, take them to Center Parcs and hear them read every week in school.

“I’m present in their lives and can pay my mortgage and not worry if my boiler or car breaks down. I don’t have any financial worries and am independent.  I believe in myself and am proud of what I have achieved.”

How did Keeley get to become a multi-award winning Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant?

“Two conventions ago I was 75th in the top 100 and came away thinking what can I do to be in top 50? Answer: more clients.

“I opened my second premises in 2016 in Haverhill, Suffolk, and Jenny Overington, who is one of my most successful dieters having lost 10 stone herself, runs that.

“I’ve concentrated on building my client base to 50 a week and have a team of 10.

“I live and breathe CWP. I post on Facebook and Instagram three or four times a day.

“I always wear my uniform and have a CWP decal on my car, which I deliberately park in the town centre car park so people see it.

“I feel really proud of what I’ve done in this area in three years and going on incentive sales champions trips makes me want to always be in the top 50.

“It’ll be my 10th anniversary next year as a Consultant and I have big things planned. Watch this space!”
