The red lip, winged liner combo never goes out of style (just like starlet and regular wearer of this make-up look Miss Taylor Swift). It’s the perfect make-up to glam up any outfit. Get to practicing your eyeliner skills to save stress when getting ready – you’ll have this technique down in no time!Step 1 – Base
Apply a semi-matt foundation, followed by a concealer under the eyes, then use a translucent powder to set the foundation. Apply a neutral eye shadow over the entire lid and up to the brow bone (choose a colour with a slight shimmer to make your eyes ‘pop’).
Keep eyebrows soft by filling in any gaps and brushing them into shape.
Step 2 – The flick
To create the flicked liner, use a very fine ‘pen’ liner or ink pot and brush, whichever you prefer, or for a softer look you can use a pencil or crayon style product.
Top Tip: Rest your elbow on a flat stable surface then start your line at the inner corner of the eye. Stay as tight to the top lash line as possible and trace along towards the outer corner. Just before you get to the end of the eye, lift the liner to create your flick.
Curl eyelashes then apply lots of rich black mascara and add a strip of false lashes for extra impact.Step 3 – Blush & glow
Next, highlight the top of the cheekbones and down the centre of the nose and the Cupid’s bow on the top lip, and this will add a glow. Smile to reveal the fullest part of your cheeks, then with light circular strokes of your blusher brush apply colour to the highest point on both cheeks.
Step 4 – Lips
Use a lip brush to apply red lipstick, blot and then reapply to get a soft lasting look.
