For slimmers who have spent so long hiding from photos, it’s not easy to embrace the camera. Here are our top posing tips to help show off your shape! We all have curves so let’s work with them, by going in and out in all the right places you can really show your new figure at its best. With a few twists, pops and bangs you can easily get that Supermodel look!
Standing straight on with your arms by your side gives a dull boxy look, even Kate Moss would look like a sack of spuds if she stood like this. By giving your body shape a bit of attitude you can really look stunning. Give your legs a nice strong stance with the feet planted firmly apart, pop your hip to one side. Then put those hands low down on your hips, slightly round towards your bum so as not to push your shoulders up.
By stretching the legs apart you now have great looking legs, hands on hips show off your tiny waist and shoulders down elongates your neck. You can take that look one step further by twisting towards the hip you have popped, giving you a narrower look.
Keeping your arms down by your side hides that nipped in waist you now have, while your hip coming towards the camera is great if you are a certain Kardashian but let’s be serious most of us don’t want to make a bigger deal of our bums! By turning at a three-quarter angle, popping out your back hip and ‘banging’ your front knee across, finished off with hands on hips, will give you the look all the celebs go for on the red carpet.
Relaxing onto your back hip sends your bum away from the camera, hands on hips shows off that hour lass figure and then by letting your front knee push across the other (helped by going onto your toes) will give you a cute little fish tail shape. The end result is these lovely soft sweeps in your body shape, going in and out in all the right places.

Standing up straight is so important and that doesn’t mean wrenching your shoulders back as all that does is arch your back thus pushing your tummy out. The best way is to imagine someone has a small tuft of your hair pulling you up so you have an inner core lift.
By placing your hand on the upper curve of your bum and sliding the front foot back, you will show off that flat tummy, small waist and that cute little bum.

1. Remember to pull up straight but don’t wrench your shoulders back

3. Turn at an angle or side on to really show off that flat tummy
4. Be a bit of a cheeky chap put your hands in your pockets (front or back) or look like you are buttoning a shirt cuff
5. Most of all, look like you are enjoying yourself – it will show in the photo!
